Heather Jones is to be included in the Speed Art Museum collection with her work entitled I Can’t Believe the News Today. This work is part of a gift of more than 100 artworks to the Speed as part of an exhibition entitled Rounding the Circle: The Mary and Al Shands Collection.

The John Simon Guggenhiem’s mission is to further the development of scholars, scientists, and other artists through fellowships.

Womanish: Audacious, Courageous, Willful Art features artwork by women acquired by the McNay from 2010 to the present. The exhibition is on view until July 2023.

Rufai has a solo exhibition at the Center for the Arts of San Luis Potosi in Mexico this April.
