This fall, Contemporary Art Matters is proud to present Case Studies, a solo exhibition by photographer Jared Thorne. In this insightful series, Thorne turns his lens toward the personal bookcase, transforming a familiar household feature into a revealing portrait of identity. Exploring the interplay between authenticity and pretense, this series offers an intriguing glimpse into a person’s inner world and the exterior persona they choose to project.

The New Year begins with the pairing of two celebrated artists in Duet: Rob Wynne and Stephen Mueller. Mixed-media artist Rob Wynne, known for his elegant poured-glass sculptures and text-based works, curates the exhibition, selecting vivid geometric paintings by the late Stephen Mueller to accompany his own pieces. Wynne’s mirrored glass and poetic works find a harmonic counterpoint in Mueller’s mystical, meditative compositions, offering a rare opportunity to experience these two distinctive voices together.
