The group exhibition celebrates contemporary artists with connections to Accra, Ghana, Columbus, Ohio’s sister city.
Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) is pleased to present Home is Here, Too, a group exhibition showcasing 6 artists with connections to Accra, Ghana, whose practices identify migration and precarious societal structures as sites for community building. On view at the Henry Beeler Gallery from October 12, 2023-December, 2023, this exhibition is organized by guest curators Edmund Gaisie and Rebecca Ibel, in partnership with Tim Rietenbach.
Curators Rebecca Ibel and Edmund Gaisie conceived Home is Here, Too at Beeler Gallery as a continuation of this pursuit. Sustaining the momentum of Accra! The Rise of a Global Art Community running concurrently at The Columbus Museum of Art, commitment to these goals is off to an auspicious start, paving the way toward future opportunities.
