Bruce Robinson is a visual artist based in Columbus, Ohio. Robinson is Professor Emeritus at the Columbus College of Art and Design, where he taught for 32 years. A recipient of the Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award, Robinson received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and his MFA from Indiana University. In 2020, Contemporary Art Matters featured Robinson’s work in a solo exhibition, Forerunners, as well as in a group exhibition, Sculpture I, in 2021. His most recent solo exhibition, Flutterby, was shown at the Pizzuti Collection of the Columbus Museum of Art in 2021. Bruce’s assemblages were shown in The Earth is Us: Forging a New Relationship, a group show held at the Cultural Arts Center in Columbus, OH.
