Robert Harms (b. 1962, Long Island, NY) is a painter who lives and works in Southampton, New York. He received his B.A. from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. In 2021, Harms presented the solo exhibition Many Flowers at Contemporary Art Matters, and in 2022, he held the solo exhibition Robert Harms: Paintings at the Madoo Conservancy in Long Island, New York. His work has been widely exhibited in the United States and is included in numerous prestigious public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Parrish Art Museum, Southampton; Guild Hall Museum, East Hampton, NY; and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York. Harms has received many awards and grants, including the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant.
